Citrix Engineer

We are seeking a senior Citrix SME to lead the design, implementation, automation, and ongoing ownership of a large-scale Citrix Server 2025 environment. This individual will serve as the primary technical authority for all Citrix-related initiatives, including Azure migration, disaster recovery, image lifecycle management, and platform modernization.

• Serve as the lead Citrix Architect and SME for all Citrix infrastructure and engineering activities.
• Design and implement Citrix Server 2025 solutions utilizing Citrix Cloud
  , MCS, PVS, and App Layering.
• Architect and deploy Azure-based Citrix environments supporting production and disaster recovery workloads.
• Develop and execute DR strategies, failover/failback testing, and resiliency planning.
• Automate Citrix image lifecycle management, including monthly image updates, OS patching, and application layer deployments.
• Build and maintain machine catalogs, provisioning processes, and application delivery services.
• Partner with cloud, network, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex Citrix infrastructure and user experience issues.
• Create architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.

• 8+ years of Citrix engineering and architecture experience.
• Deep expertise with:
• Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
• Citrix Cloud
• MCS (Machine Creation Services)
• Strong experience deploying Citrix solutions in Microsoft Azure
  .
• Experience supporting large-scale non-persistent VDI environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, Azure networking, storage, and compute services.
• Strong Power Shell scripting and automation experience.
• Proven experience with disaster recovery design and implementation.

• Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) or Citrix Certified Expert (CCE).
• Experience with enterprise-scale environments and cloud migration initiatives.
