Overview:Quintrix is seeking passionate professionals looking to build and advance their careers as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst. This is not a software development or coding role—you will focus on business and systems analysis, process improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and testing support. Previous Mainframe, Hogan, or COBOL experience is not required.
This opportunity includes a comprehensive 4-week online pre-employment training program, designed to fit your schedule with approximately 15 hours of instructor-led training per week, held after business hours.
Participants who successfully complete the pre-employment training will receive a $500 stipend, along with in-demand skills, hands-on experience, and a clear pathway into a dynamic career in Business Technology.
What You'll Do- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze business requirements and operational challenges.
- Perform business and systems analysis to support critical banking processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Support testing activities, including functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams responsible for implementing technical solutions.
- Contribute to automation initiatives by identifying manual processes that can be improved through automation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of relevant professional experience.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the Mainframe/Hogan environment.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of Jira, Scrum, Kanban, user stories, backlog refinement, and requirements analysis.
- Basic understanding of Mainframe environments is helpful but not required.
- Exposure to financial services or the banking industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to commute or relocate to the job location, if required.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 months of employment.
- Exposure to Service Now.
- Experience supporting testing activities.
- Interest in test automation.
- Awareness of process improvement methodologies.
- Online assessment and technical interview conducted by Quintrix.
- Client interview(s).
- Four weeks of online, instructor-led pre-employment training.
