We are seeking a Senior Pega Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Pega platform deployment and administration on Private Cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on expertise in externalizing Pega services such as Kafka and Elasticsearch/Open Search, containerizing Pega applications, and deploying solutions on AWS‑based private cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support Pega Platform infrastructure in Private Cloud environments.
- Configure and manage Pega externalized services including:
- Elasticsearch/Open Search
- Deploy and administer containerized Pega applications using:
- Docker
- Amazon EKS
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Configure and manage highly available Kafka environments including:
- Topic management
- Partitioning and replication
- Security (SSL/TLS, SASL, IAM, ACLs)
- Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Manage Open Search/Elasticsearch clusters, indexing, retention, and search optimization.
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar IaC tools.
- Support production environments, incident management, performance tuning, and disaster recovery activities.
- Collaborate with application, Dev Ops, security, and architecture teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on Pega Infrastructure/Cloud experience.
- Strong knowledge of Pega deployment and administration on Private Cloud.
- Experience externalizing Pega services such as Kafka and Elasticsearch/Open Search.
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Apache Kafka / Amazon MSK
- Elasticsearch/Open Search
- Docker
- Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, certificates, and access controls.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Pega Containerization.
- AWS certifications.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK/Open Search.
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise security practices.
