Position Summary:

  • Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end manufacturing capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), including transition of acquired manufacturing businesses onto D365.
Responsibilities:
  • Architect and design manufacturing processes in D365:
    Plan to Produce (MPS/MRP), Production Control (discrete and/or process), shop floor execution, and inventory/warehouse integration.
  • Define scalable solutions for multi-site, multi-entity operations; translate requirements into solution designs and architecture artifacts.
  • Partner to define ERP + MES integration (e.g., shop floor systems, work instructions, data collection), including system-of-record boundaries (ERP vs MES vs LIMS) and production order/inventory/quality-traceability flows.
  • Drive standardization across acquired entities; reduce customization and leverage out-of-the-box D365; contribute to a 5-year ERP + MES transformation roadmap.
  • Serve as functional lead during D365 implementations: configuration guidance, workshops/fit-gap, functional testing/validation, and delivery oversight.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and technical/integration teams; advise on manufacturing system capabilities and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in ERP solution architecture or functional leadership.
  • Deep D365 F&O manufacturing expertise:
    Production Control, Master Planning (MRP/MPS), Inventory Management.
  • Manufacturing experience in life sciences/medical device/regulated environments; MES integration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of discrete/process manufacturing, supply chain/inventory flows, shop floor execution, and global multi-entity ERP implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ERP consolidation/post-acquisition integration;
    Azure integration patterns; LIMS/GxP/quality systems;
    Power Platform (Power BI/Power Apps); D365 F&O certifications.
