We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst
- Transformation, Automation & AI to drive business transformation initiatives by combining strong business analysis, process optimization, automation, and technology solutioning capabilities. This role serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping identify opportunities, define future-state capabilities, evaluate solution options, and develop actionable recommendations that improve business outcomes.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of business processes, automation technologies, enterprise systems, integrations, and solution design concepts while maintaining a business-first mindset. This individual will lead discovery efforts, assess opportunities, create analytical artifacts and visual models, support strategic decision-making, and contribute throughout the SDLC from idea inception through implementation.

This role does not require hands-on software development, coding, or unit testing. It does require the ability to assess technical feasibility, understand solution architecture concepts, and collaborate effectively across business, technology, analytics, compliance, and operations teams.

• Support strategic initiatives and idea vetting by completing required documentation, performing data collection, and conducting analysis for business processes under review.
• Plan and facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed information on business objectives, current-state pain points, operational constraints, risks, control points, and desired outcomes.
• Perform end-to-end business process analysis to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, control needs, automation potential, data issues, and opportunities for measurable improvement.
• Define and recommend future-state process, operating model, capability, and technology enhancements that align with business strategy, compliance requirements, customer experience, and operational needs.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using business, operational, and process data to support recommendations, sequencing, and prioritization decisions.
• Provide high-level technical feasibility assessments, including constraints, dependencies, integration impacts, data considerations, architectural considerations, delivery complexity, and implementation readiness.
• Create high-level solution designs and option analyses, including build vs. buy vs. configure, platform vs. point solution, automation vs. manual workaround, and enterprise solution vs. fit-for-purpose alternatives.
• Evaluate business capabilities, operating models, processes, data, and technology impacts to ensure solution recommendations align with enterprise objectives.
• Develop clear, consumable visuals to represent business and solution context, including capability maps, value streams, customer journeys, BPMN or swimlane process flows, data flow views, integration diagrams, and people/process/technology operating model views.
• Translate complex business and technology topics into executive-ready narratives, diagrams, recommendations, and decision materials.
• Evaluate solution options with a pragmatic lens and recommend a large enterprise solution or a lower-cost fit-for-purpose alternative when appropriate. Back recommendations with logical reasoning and analytical data such as cost estimates, effort sizing, cycle time impacts, risk assessments, adoption constraints, and expected value.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of gathered information, including current-state process maps, experience maps, journey maps, capability views, and other analytical visuals.
• Partner with business, technology, analytics, operations, and compliance teams to identify, prioritize, track, and follow through on opportunities.
