- Enter data into the EQuIS database
- Manually check data thoroughly against original documents
- Enter geologic data and produce boring logs
- Produce charts and reports
- Perform advanced formulas and functions in Microsoft Excel
- Follow data management department processes
- Discuss data and projects with data management staff and project teams
- Apply scientific and environmental knowledge to manage, validate, and analyze large datasets
- Support data workflows and coordinate with technical teams
- Ensure data deliverables meet project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements
- Develop scopes of work, budgets, and timelines according to client specifications and needs
- Identify data discrepancies and assess data quality
- Assist in resolving technical issues in environmental datasets
- Interpret site data within regulatory and environmental frameworks
- Prepare data summaries, charts, boring logs, and figures
- Provide status updates to project managers and stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to ensure data quality and project success
- Bachelor's degree in environmental studies/sciences, geology, chemistry, biology, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience working with databases
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including charts, macros, pivot tables, and other functions
- Strong computer skills, including experience with EQuIS and Microsoft Suite
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills grounded in scientific reasoning and technical expertise
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing large environmental datasets
Demonstrates expertise in data management and analysis, particularly within environmental frameworks, while ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective communication with project stakeholders. Proficient in utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel functions and EQuIS for data validation and reporting.
