The Ash Group is hiring a Data Analyst for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 12‑month contract working in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO (Hybrid) offering a pay rate of $35 per hour based on skillset.

• Compensation: $35/hr W2

• Data quality and data governance
• Contextualizing data so it is meaningful for business users
• Documenting data dictionaries and validation rules
• Identifying gaps in data pipelines and working with IT to resolve them
• Building and maintaining data pipelines
• Supporting self‑service analytics and training business users over time
• Meeting with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs

• Looking for 3+ years of current experience as a Data Analyst
• Must have some experience with SQL, Python, and PowerBI
• Understanding of data governance and data quality is required
• Databricks is a nice to have
• Strong communication skills is a must
• Must have the ability to explain data in non‑technical language
