Systems Administrator

Description

We're looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Support Administrator to provide day-to-day infrastructure and end-user support for a mid-sized manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys being a technical generalist and can jump between Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, laptops, and onsite user support. This is a temporary role,, so this person will step in and help keep the environment running smoothly while providing responsive support to employees and manufacturing-floor users.

Local Minnesota candidates are preferred, and the ability to occasionally work onsite in Bloomington, MN is required.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day IT infrastructure and end-user support

Support and administer the organization's Azure cloud environment

Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting

Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and support laptops and desktops

Troubleshoot network connectivity and infrastructure issues

Support and maintain Cisco and Juniper switches

Provide occasional onsite support for users and systems on the manufacturing floor

Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and infrastructure issues

Work independently to identify and resolve technical issues while escalating when needed

Requirements

Experience supporting Azure environments

General IT infrastructure administration/support experience

Familiarity with Microsoft 365

Strong laptop/desktop deployment and troubleshooting experience

Networking and connectivity troubleshooting experience

Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper switches

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working independently in a hands-on environment
