Sign Language Interpreter
Full time. Regular.
Monthly salary: $3,593.34 (annual: $43,120.08).
ResponsibilitiesThe position interprets for different school functions, conferences, meetings, assemblies, IEP meetings, medical meetings with nursing staff, parent homes, sororities when requested, and psychological testing when requested. The interpreter assists in special programs and activities requiring interpretation. The individual attends in‑service training as scheduled and interpreter workshops as required to keep certification current.
Qualifications- State certification through DRS/QAST (Quality Assurance Screening Test).
- National certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
- American Sign Language skills.
Position is located at Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur.
