AV Service Coordinator (Audio Visual) - Operations & Scheduling

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AV Service Coordinator to join a dynamic service team supporting Audio Visual (AV) installations and client projects. This role blends operations coordination, scheduling, customer service, and technical awareness, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

The coordinator will work closely with project managers, technicians, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful execution of AV installation projects across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Coordinate and schedule AV installation projects to ensure timely delivery

+ Secure and manage internal technicians and subcontractor labor for installations nationwide

+ Build and maintain installation schedules with clear visibility for internal teams

+ Collaborate with AV Project Managers and Install Managers to staff and execute projects

+ Communicate installation timelines and updates to customers

+ Manage subcontractor relationships, including:

+ Sourcing vendors in new/outstate markets

+ Maintaining subcontractor agreements and records

+ Onboarding new subcontractors

+ Match project requirements with appropriate technician skill sets

+ Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet project timelines

+ Oversee fleet utilization, including route optimization and vehicle rentals

+ Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external communications

+ Provide responsive customer service and issue resolution

+ Perform additional operational and coordination tasks as needed

Typical Day

+ Assign technicians and subcontractors to projects and publish schedules

+ Coordinate labor resources for multiple installations simultaneously

+ Communicate with project teams and customers regarding schedule updates

+ Manage vendor coordination and subcontractor logistics

+ Adjust schedules and staffing based on project needs

+ Ensure efficient routing and fleet usage

Required Qualifications

+

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

+

Experience:

+ Minimum 3+ years of experience in customer support and service coordination

+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to manage data across multiple spreadsheets

+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills

+ Excellent communication (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience working with Audio Visual (AV) technology or installations

+ Experience using ticketing systems to track and resolve issues

+ Experience supporting technical products or services

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
