Bright Smiles Community Clinic & Dental is a nonprofit dental clinic dedicated to expanding access to quality oral healthcare for underserved communities. We proudly serve patients with Medicaid, Medicare, and those without insurance, ensuring compassionate, culturally responsive care for all.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and service-driven Front Desk Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our diverse patient population.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about community health, enjoys helping others, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming, respectful experience for all individuals
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments (including emergencies and walk-ins)
  • Assist patients with intake forms, consent documents, and insurance verification (Medicaid/Medicare/uninsured)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
  • Support patients throughout their visit, ensuring clear communication and comfort
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) strongly preferred; additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate care
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic records
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
  • Passion for serving diverse and underserved populations
