Securities Attorney

Lathrop GPM is seeking a qualified attorney with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in securities and private investment fund formation to join our growing Business Transactions practice group. The preferred candidate will have experience or a strong interest in working with startups, founders, and venture capital firms in company formation, corporate governance and securities law, angel investments, and venture capital financings.

This position offers continued professional development and support of personal practice growth through client development initiatives, and can be based out of our Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Redwood Shores, St. Louis, or Washington, D.C. offices. The successful candidate will have strong academic credentials, exceptional analytical and writing abilities, and outstanding interpersonal skills.

The current anticipated salary range is $250,000+. Actual initial salary may be above or below the identified range and will be based on relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors consistent with applicable law. A full comprehensive benefit plan is provided and includes health care, retirement plan, parental leave, and short/long term disability.
