The U.S. Attorney's Office for District of Minnesota is seeking to hire AUSAs to work in our Criminal Division. Our criminal AUSAs lead cases from investigation, through charging, pretrial litigation, trial, sentencing, and appeal.

The Office's Criminal Division is divided into four sections: the Violent & Major Crimes Section (prosecuting RICO, gang, and firearm offenses, human trafficking crimes, crimes against children, and other violent crimes); the Fraud & Public Corruption Section (prosecuting complex financial crimes, public corruption offenses, and civil rights crimes); the Narcotics & Indian Country Section (prosecuting major narcotics cases as well as crimes occurring on Minnesota's eleven federally recognized tribal reservations);

and the National Security & Cybercrime Section (prosecuting national security offenses and cyber intrusion cases). As a criminal AUSA, you will be assigned to one of these sections, but our criminal AUSAs often prosecute cases across sections.

Your responsibilities as an AUSA will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

We may use this vacancy announcement to fill other vacant AUSA positions.
