We have a unique opening in a Minneapolis law office for alawyer with 5 or more years of experience advising nonprofit organizations in private practice. Candidates should be familiar with the tax, corporate, and charitable trust issues that are unique to tax exempt and nonprofit organizations. These include applying for and maintaining federal income tax exemption, the private foundation tax rules, nonprofit corporate formation and reorganization, governance matters, charitable tax deduction, endowment funds, tax rules governing political activity and executive compensation, joint ventures, unrelated business income tax, IRS examinations, and attorney general investigations.

Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and organizational skills, and professional recommendations.
