Real Estate Attorney (Hybrid in Minneapolis / Full Time In-House Contract Engagement)

Latitude is seeking an experienced real estate attorney to provide full-time coverage during an upcoming leave period commencing May 1. This role will report directly to the General Counsel, and this attorney will play a key role in supporting a sophisticated commercial real‑estate platform—leading leasing matters, advising on lender‑related agreements and tenant issues, supporting acquisitions and financings, and partnering closely with the business team on a range of real‑estate and contract matters.

Prior in‑house experience with a commercial real‑estate company or working in the real‑estate practice group of a large or sophisticated boutique law firm is preferred. Whether a seasoned in‑house attorney or a law firm attorney looking to transition from private practice, this is an opportunity to jump in and hit the ground running within a collaborative legal team. This is a hybrid position based in Minneapolis with an expectation of three days onsite per week at the company’s corporate headquarters.

Candidates must reside in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area.

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience working in the real estate practice group of a large or sophisticated boutique law firm, or a corporate legal department of a commercial real‑estate company
• Strong background in leasing and transactional real estate matters
• Experience supporting complex real estate deals and related documentation
• Nimble and able to multi‑task with a practical, business‑minded approach and solid judgment
• Strong drafting, communication, and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with legal and business partners
• Active Minnesota law license in good standing
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Outstanding professional references

• Pay:
  The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full‑time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
