About the RoleLHH is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join a stable, collaborative, and long‑tenured billing department of five. This role replaces bandwidth for a current coordinator stepping into project-based work.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, edit, and finalize client invoices—including real estate billing and working with a key shareholder and one of the firm’s largest clients.
- Handle 30–40% e‑billing
, including uploading invoices, resolving rejections, and tracking approvals. - Manage billing pipelines, follow up on deadlines, and confidently communicate with clients and attorneys.
- Collaborate with the A/R & Collections Supervisor (Jason Mangan) and other Billing Coordinators (e.g., Lynn Holmen).
- Assist with month‑end billing processes, including work that may be stored and managed through Share Point .
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow firm billing procedures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and support light project work as needed.
- Work effectively with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing questions or deadline pushes.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of billing experience (professional services or law firm preferred).
- Not looking for someone “too green”—must understand billing basics and be comfortable asking questions.
- Strong communication skills and confidence when working with attorneys and clients.
- Ability to handle repetitive work and follow established procedures.
- Proactive, willing to learn, and open to taking on new tasks.
Experience with any of the following is a strong plus:
- Elite 3E
- Bill Blast or eBH
- Paperless Proforma
- Oddr
- iManage
- Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment
- SharePoint familiarity is highly valued (many clients and internal month-end workflows use it)
- Team is stable—
