Lockridge Grindal Nauen PLLP is a litigation and lobbying firm, serving clients throughout the Midwest and across the country for over forty-five years. This position is for our antitrust practice group that has cases venued across the country. This position offers an exciting variety of responsibilities, including preparing, filing and serving pleadings, researching case-related factual issues, managing case-related organization, interacting with and maintaining relationships with clients.

You are a resourceful, self-motivated paralegal with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You are eager to learn and able to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. You adapt to changes in workflow and excel in troubleshooting, problem resolution and follow up. You become an integral member of the firm and are critical to our success.
PRIMARYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting assigned attorneys in a variety of legal tasks and functions
- Researching case-related factual issues
- Preparing, filing, and serving pleadings
- Communicating legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, co-counsel, and/or court officials
- Organizing and maintaining case files and other documents
- Collecting, analyzing, and preparing data for reports and projects
- Managing document storage and production and handling electronic discovery processes
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience preferred
- Paralegal degree or certificate required
- 2-3 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm handling litigation matters (antitrust experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of federal civil litigation, including all aspects of filing pleadings via ECF
- High proficiency with MS Word and formatting pleading/letters, MS Excel (including filtering and organizing relevant content and managing complex spreadsheets), and Adobe Acrobat Professional (including editing PDFs, setting up PDF e-signature fields, and otherwise manipulating PDFs as required for litigation)
- Experience with court filings, pleading processes, and systems such as PACER and ECF required
- Proven track record of mastering new software as litigation technology evolves
- Experience using common e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, Disco), including searching for documents, extracting documents, and preparing deposition exhibits
- Experience supporting litigation teams in managing case deadlines and assisting team in planning for important case events
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with and take direction from multiple individuals, as well as the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work overtime on occasion
- Highly responsive, able to meet deadlines, and works well in a fast-paced environment under pressure

The cost of individual health care premiums are fully covered by the firm.
Work Location:
Preference for Hybrid in-person/remote in Minneapolis, MN 55401, but location is negotiable for the right candidate.
$57,000 - $75,000 per year
