Paralegal - Personal Injury

Description

We are partnered with a long-standing Minneapolis law firm that is looking to add an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to its team.

This is an ideal position for a paralegal with plaintiff-side personal injury experience to join a well-established law firm and support senior attorneys through all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial preparation

+ Draft and file pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence

+ Obtain and organize medical records, billing statements, and lien information

+ Summarize medical records and assist with preparation of demand packages

+ Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and experts

+ Support attorneys with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation

+ Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders

+ Maintain organized and accurate electronic case files

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Minimum 2-5+ years of transferable civil litigation experience required; plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred

+ Working knowledge of Minnesota civil procedure and personal injury processes

+ Proficiency with case management software and legal technology platforms

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office and document management systems

+

Experience with e-filing systems and electronic medical records

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail

+ Professional and empathetic approach when working with injured clients
