The Brooklyn Park Police Department is seeking experienced lateral police officers. Academy and field training will be condensed based on prior law enforcement experience.
Our officers serve with professionalism, integrity, and honor while preserving law and order, protecting life and property, and building strong community partnerships through community-oriented policing. We are supported by residents, elected officials, and city leadership, and we value Service, Justice, and Courage.
The department offers progressive equipment, including external vest carriers and drones, along with on-duty workout time and a fully equipped fitness facility. Specialty assignments such as K9, SWAT, investigations, and community outreach are available after successful completion of field training.
Qualified candidates must be MN POST licensed (or eligible), have at least one year of full-time experience, have completed probation, and pass all required testing.
Full-time, 12-hour shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Join a department committed to excellence and community trust.
