Estate Planning Attorney

FMJ has an opportunity in our Eden Prairie office for an experienced estate planning associate attorney with 4 or more years of experience with trusts, estates, and probate matters. The firm is seeking a candidate with strong writing abilities, knowledge of probate and procedural rules, experience with advanced estate planning consulting and tax structures, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Candidates MUST BE LICENSED to practice law in Minnesota. Applicants with a portable book of business or a strong desire to build one are preferred. Associate and junior partner level applicants are welcome.

Salary range for an associate with 4 to 6 years of experience and no portable book of business in this position is $145,000 to $160,000 (commensurate with experience) plus quarterly bonuses based on files originated and a discretionary annual performance bonus.

Salary will vary for applicants with a portable book of business based on size of applicant’s book.
