This is a full‑time, on‑site Shipping and Receiving Manager role based in Minneapolis, MN. The Shipping and Receiving Manager oversees daily shipping and receiving, coordinates incoming materials, verifies shipments, maintains organized storage areas, and ensures accurate documentation and system updates. The manager supervises shipping and warehouse; assigns tasks, monitors performance, and promotes a safe, efficient work environment. The position also collaborates closely with production, customer service, and vendors to resolve logistics issues, optimize workflows, and meet customer deadlines.
Qualifications- Strong shipping and receiving experience, including managing outbound orders, inbound materials, and related documentation.
- Supervisory skills, with experience leading, coaching, and scheduling warehouse or logistics teams.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, carriers, and vendors.
- Proficiency in forklift operation and safe material handling practices; current certification or ability to obtain one.
- Experience with warehouse or ERP systems, shipping software, and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and time management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in logistics, supply chain, or operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and moving materials in a production environment.
- Previous experience in a printing, manufacturing, or distribution setting is beneficial but not required.
Compensation: $70k-$85k
