At Medtronic, we push the limits of what technology, therapies, and services can do to help alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. As the Senior Global Demand Planning Director for Medical Surgical, you will be accountable for driving a high-quality, consensus demand plan that enables reliable supply, strong commercial execution, and informed leadership decision-making. Driving improvements in forecast accuracy, bias, and value add.

Partnering closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regional teams, you will drive forecast accuracy, align on demand signals, and ensure a clear linkage between near-term forecasts, Long-Range Planning (LRP), and strategic business priorities.
You Will:
* Drive forecast quality and performance improvements, including Forecast Accuracy (FA), Bias, and Forecast Value Add (FVA) at the global level
* Lead Global Demand Reviews as part of the IBP process, aligning stakeholders on assumptions, risks, opportunities, and long‑range demand drivers
* Partner with Finance and Strategy to develop and maintain Long‑Range Planning (LRP) demand assumptions, ensuring consistency between the operational forecast, AOP, and multi‑year outlook
* Partner with the stat analyst team to ensure a strong baseline
* Drive adoption and effective use of our Advanced Planning Systems to support forecasting, scenario modeling, phase-in/phase-out, and long‑term decision making
* Ensure adherence to the monthly demand planning calendar and IBP / S&OP governance, including integration of LRP into executive forums
* Own the global demand plan roll‑up across all regions and ensure a smooth, disciplined demand‑to‑supply handoff, supporting both execution and future capacity decisions
* Define and execute actions to improve demand planning KPIs, planning maturity, and long‑term business outcomes
* Lead, coach, and mentor managers and demand planners; build organizational capability in both operational and long‑range planning, and support succession planning
Must Have:
