Manager, Supply Chain Procurement – Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing activities, manage purchase requisition information, support supplier engagement, and drive cost, quality, and service improvements across assigned materials categories.
- Lead sourcing strategies and tasks across direct categories such as print, paper, inks, envelopes, etc.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Accounts Payable, warehouse leads and Supply Planning to plan, purchase, and resolve supply‑related issues.
- Enter purchase requisition information in SAP S/4
HANA; ensure pricing, lead times, and commercial terms are accurate. - Conduct RFQs, research supplier options, analyze quotes, evaluate supplier capabilities, and support supplier selection decisions.
- Support QN/NCR ticket resolution by working with internal teams and suppliers on corrective actions or replacements.
- Use SAP S/4
HANA for PIR/PR creation and maintenance, goods receipt follow‑up, quality notification tracking, reporting, and master data support. - Manage supplier onboarding using Ariba; identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, data accuracy, and cycle times.
- Assist in cost analysis, cost savings tracking, and value engineering initiatives; maintain spend data and contribute to category reporting, dashboards, and sourcing pipeline visibility.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to confirm acknowledgements, monitor delivery schedules, and elevate potential disruptions; assist in supplier performance tracking (on‑time delivery, quality metrics, issue resolution).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement.
- 5–7 years of experience; basic requirement of 18 years of age or older.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4
HANA purchasing processes. - Experience using SAP Ariba for sourcing, contracting, or supplier interactions.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting direct materials, MRO, engineered parts, or industrial supply categories.
- Familiarity with supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and RFQ/RFP processes.
- Understanding of quality notifications (QNs/NCRs) and corrective action workflows.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Direct materials sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance.
- 7+ years of experience.
$ – $ annually; eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan.
