Supply Management Planner II

The Supply Management Planner II plans and manages the production or purchase of materials required to meet customer demand. The role involves analyzing inventory records and creating inventory strategies that support service level agreements and minimize total cost of ownership. The planner manages material flow from suppliers through order fulfillment, expediting and de‑expediting orders as needed, and partners with suppliers and internal fulfillment teams to identify improvement opportunities and execute collaborative improvement initiatives.

• Monitor daily exception reports to identify and resolve inventory issues, expediting and de‑expediting as necessary.
• Place purchase orders or production orders to support the master production schedule and maintain material flow in order to meet customer SLA.
• Participate in and/or lead projects and initiatives that require supply planning knowledge and disciplines.

Develop and review inventory strategy for managed commodities to ensure optimum asset utilization and lowest total cost of ownership, partnering with sourcing or fulfillment to implement continuous improvement ideas.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or HS/GED and 7 years of experience.
• Basic general PC skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 5 years of supply management or inventory management experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

The compensation range for this position is $67,000.00 – $90,000.00 annually. The position may also be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. Base pay will vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and internal equity considerations.
