Drive Supply Chain Excellence in a High-Impact Role

As the Senior Buyer, you'll lead purchasing activities across the organization while serving as a key business partner to operations, production, and leadership teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and strengthening supplier relationships while identifying and onboarding new vendors
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements to optimize total cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Analyzing supplier performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Assessing the impact of supplier pricing changes and market conditions on product margins
• Managing purchasing risk related to supply disruptions, cost volatility, and vendor performance
• Overseeing the requisition-to-purchase order process and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services
• Collaborating cross-functionally to forecast demand, maintain inventory levels, and prevent shortages
• Issuing supplier forecasts and blanket purchase orders to maximize purchasing leverage
• Monitoring open orders, expediting deliveries, and resolving discrepancies related to invoices and shipments
• Supporting operational accuracy through proactive communication and ERP transaction management

• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing company where you have demonstrated results and measurable improvements
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills
• Ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous or fast-changing situations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• ASCM certification or equivalent professional credential
• Experience with Job Boss ERP software
