Material Handler - Maple Grove

About This Position

Perform duties related to picking, distribution, and unloading assigned inventories in the warehouse, departments, or off‑site facilities. Responsible for supporting Materials Management’s mission by providing accurate, time‑efficient movement of products and supplies. Follows receiving/shipping policy and procedures to ensure the accurate receipt of shipments.

• High school graduate or equivalent (i.e., GED) required.
• 2 years college preferred.

• Experience in inventory control or related experience preferred.

• Basic computer skills required, intermediate or above proficiency with MS Office, ERP, and time management software (i.e., Outlook) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Materials Management principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and to multitask.
• Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner and consider the needs, feelings, and capabilities of others.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form.
• High level of customer service and communication skills to provide customer comfort and satisfaction.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Salary Range: S11 ($17.49 – $24.48), based on experience
