This role ensures the network achieves expected outcomes through ongoing measurement, exception management, and vendor engagement. You will lead initiatives that strengthen vendor behavior, optimize freight flow, and develop sustainable processes that reduce cost and improve operational performance.
You will partner closely with Transportation Operations, Sourcing, Inventory Management, Supplier Performance, and Vendor partners to identify risks, solve exceptions, and maintain a healthy, efficient network.##

Key Responsibilities ### Integrated Supply Chain Optimization
* Serve as the TAO representative for the Integrated Purchasing & Transportation (IP&T) cross-functional team, ensuring transportation considerations are incorporated into purchasing decisions and product roadmaps
* Partner closely with Inventory Management, PIM, SCNO, Sourcing, and Transportation teams to develop and execute integrated optimization strategies across the supply chain
* Evaluate and optimize multiple supply chain levers simultaneously at the vendor level, including VOP Optimization, Reorder Frequency, Ordering Thresholds, Truckload Optimization, Regional Buy strategies, and Multi-Vendor VRG opportunities
* Facilitate cross-functional discussions to balance transportation cost, inventory investment, service, and operational efficiency while driving holistic decision-making### Optimization Analytics & Business Insights
* Develop analytical frameworks and decision-support tools that identify optimization opportunities across Target's transportation network
* Perform quantitative analysis to evaluate business impacts, model optimization scenarios, and recommend scalable solutions that improve transportation efficiency and reduce total supply chain cost
