Want to build a stronger, more sustainable future and cultivate your career? Join Cargill's global team of 160,000 employees who are committed to safe, responsible and sustainable ways to nourish the world. This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from food service operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Cargill's Food North America Manufacturing and Supply Chain Rotational Program is designed to develop future leaders in supply chain and manufacturing. This two-year program offers two distinct tracks:

  • Hybrid Track:
Spend Year 1 in a Protein production facility, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as plant operations, shipping/receiving, warehouse management, food safety, and continuous improvement. Spend Year 2 in a corporate supply chain role in Wichita, KS, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as supply planning, production scheduling, inventory management, transportation, raw material procurement.
  • Supply Chain-Only Track:
Spend two years in supply chain roles based in a corporate setting (Wichita, KS or Minneapolis, MN), rotating through areas such as supply planning, production scheduling, inventory management, transportation and raw material procurement. Rotations are generally one year in length.

This role allows the associate to learn about the business by performing critical tasks within the production environment in our protein processing facilities. This generally requires a moderate amount of physical exertion on a regular basis. The work may also involve other conditions or exposures (i.e., heat, cold, wet environments, etc.). This role may require shifts including 2nd and 3rd shift and weekend hours during the operations rotation.

Potential Business Areas for Plant Rotation:
Beef Processing, Egg Processing, or Cooked Protein Processing.

The time spent in a Supply Chain role will provide hands-on exposure and ownership within one of our Supply Chain roles and opportunities to shadow and gain exposure across other teams. During this rotation, associates will tackle real challenges, cultivate curiosity, enjoy both personal and team accomplishments, and have their innovations acknowledged along the way.

Program Highlights:

  • Real-world experience in both manufacturing and supply chain environments
  • Structured mentorship and cohort-based learning
  • Exposure to leadership, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Competitive benefits including relocation support, health care, retirement plans, and paid volunteer time

The expected salary for this position is $69,000.00. The disclosed salary has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
