Asset & Auction Coordinator

Productivity Inc is seeking an Asset & Auction Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of surplus and consigned manufacturing assets, including CNC machines, tooling, and automation equipment. In this hands-on role, you'll inventory and evaluate equipment, prepare listings, coordinate online and onsite auctions, and work closely with engineers, technicians, and customers. You'll schedule inspections and logistics, maintain accurate records in ERP/auction systems, track results, and drive process improvements that maximize asset recovery and support shop-floor productivity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and track internal and customer equipment auctions and asset sales
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset records for machine tools, tooling, and related equipment
• Prepare listings, photos, and technical details for auction platforms and internal sales channels
• Support valuation, pricing, and condition assessments in collaboration with engineers and technicians
• Liaise with customers, vendors, and logistics partners to arrange inspections, pickups, and shipping
• Monitor auction performance, bids, and sales results; generate reports and insights for management
• Ensure all documentation, titles, and compliance paperwork are complete and accurate
• Assist with onsite auction setup, tagging, and equipment organization on the shop floor
• Use ERP/CRM and auction software to manage data, workflows, and customer communication
• Continuously improve asset management and auction processes to increase recovery and throughput
