Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

Description We are looking for a Buyer to support purchasing operations for a healthcare organization in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. This is a Contract position focused on managing requisitions, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to keep materials moving efficiently. The ideal candidate brings hands-on buying or procurement experience, strong attention to detail, and comfort working in Oracle Fusion and related supply chain systems.

Responsibilities:

- Process internal supply requests in Oracle Fusion and convert approved requisitions into accurate purchase orders

- Coordinate with vendors to share order information, confirm receipt, and monitor outstanding purchases through resolution

- Guide team members on proper purchasing procedures and provide support when submitting requisitions within the supply chain system

- Review order details carefully to help ensure pricing, quantities, and delivery expectations align with operational needs

- Track purchasing activity and follow up on delayed or incomplete orders to maintain continuity of supply

- Maintain organized procurement records and update order information within purchasing platforms as needed

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address ordering questions and resolve procurement-related issues promptly Requirements - Previous experience in a buyer, purchasing, or procurement support role

- Working knowledge of purchase order processing and day-to-day purchasing functions

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, including procurement or supply chain modules

- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal team members regarding order status and purchasing needs

- Strong organizational skills with close attention to accuracy when handling requisitions and orders

- Familiarity with electronic systems such as EDI, EHR-related environments, or other enterprise business applications

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare or regulated operational setting
