Chandler Industries is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to lead our maintenance team and support a multi‑shift precision manufacturing operation in Blaine, Minnesota. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for keeping CNC machinery, production equipment, buildings, utilities, and facility systems safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. Reporting to the General Manager, you will combine technical troubleshooting with team leadership, preventive and predictive maintenance, and facility oversight.

You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, support equipment installations and facility improvements, and manage maintenance costs.

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance employees; prioritize work, establish clear expectations, and manage department performance.
• Use Limble CMMS to plan, schedule, document, and oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and repair support for CNC machinery and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, and automation systems.
• Analyze downtime, recurring failures, and repair costs to address root causes and improve equipment uptime.
• Coordinate equipment installation, relocation, rebuilding, and commissioning with Operations, Engineering, and outside technical resources.
• Manage building, grounds, utility, and facility maintenance; coordinate contractors, landlords, vendors, and service providers.
• Manage maintenance expenses, support budgeting, and maintain appropriate spare‑parts and supply inventories.
• Maintain equipment records, procedures, drawings, and service histories; support safety, regulatory, and quality requirements and related corrective actions.
• Promote safe work practices, 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement. Overtime or off‑shift response may be required for production support and emergency maintenance.

• Associate degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience.
• At least five years of progressive maintenance experience in precision machining, contract manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment, including experience leading employees, projects, or maintenance activities.
