Manager of Safety – Workplace Safety Focus
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Manager of Safety to lead workplace safety initiatives across a multi-site operational environment. This role is heavily focused on continuous improvement, safety performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making
, while also supporting compliance, training, and safety culture development.
The Manager of Safety will regularly analyze safety metrics, identify trends, and implement targeted initiatives to improve safety outcomes across the organization. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Operations, Risk Management, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to embed safety into daily operations and long-term strategy.
This position requires travel approximately once per month to different job locations throughout the United States to conduct site assessments, audits, training, and leadership engagement.
Responsibilities Continuous Improvement & Safety Performance Reporting- Track, analyze, and report workplace safety metrics, including incidents, near misses, audit findings, and corrective actions
- Identify trends, gaps, and risk patterns to drive proactive safety improvements
- Develop dashboards, reports, and executive-level summaries to support leadership decision-making
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen safety performance and reduce risk across multiple locations
- Promote and reinforce a proactive workplace safety culture across all locations
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standards
- Provide safety leadership, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable workplace safety regulations
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
- Support responses to regulatory inspections, audits, and inquiries
- Conduct site audits, safety assessments, and hazard analyses
- Design and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees at all levels
- Support safety orientation for new hires and operational launches
- Partner with HR and Operations to ensure consistent understanding and application of safety protocols
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on workplace safety strategy and performance
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance safety resources and initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and support broader business initiatives as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety regulations
- Experience managing safety programs across multiple locations
- Demonstrated experience using data, metrics, and reporting to drive continuous improvement
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately once per month to job locations across the United States
