We're looking for a Director of Transaction Services to lead and grow our existing transaction service practice with the eventual goal of partnership for the right person. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep expertise in transaction advisory services, possesses strong business acumen, and has a passion for developing people and practices.
Director of Transaction Services Responsibilities- Owns and executes the strategic vision for the Transaction Services practice.
- Provides strategic guidance on due diligence, valuations, and transaction structuring.
- Develops and implements growth strategies to expand service offerings and market share.
- Provide transaction services to firm clients including, but not limited to:
Due Diligence, Quality of Earnings Reporting, Deal Structure and Transaction Document Review, and Financial/Bank Analysis and Forecasting/Modeling. - Synthesizes large volumes of financial, operational, and market data into clear insights that support valuation, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations.
- Evaluates key deal drivers, identifying trends, red flags, and opportunities that impact transaction value and negotiation strategy.
- Ensures analytical methodologies, models, and deliverables reflect industry best practices and maintain the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Establishes and maintains efficient processes for project execution, quality control, and client communication.
- Manages practice profitability, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Actively represents the firm in professional associations, civic organizations, and industry events.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to cross-sell additional firm services and deepen client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or similar credentials strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in transaction advisory services, public accounting, or related field.
- Demonstrated success in business development and practice growth.
- Proven leadership experience, including team building, management, and talent development.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
