Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Ground Operations Quality Assurance Auditor to assist the Director of Airport Operations, Regional Directors, and Manager of Ground Operations Compliance in ensuring all regulatory requirements, standards and internal processes, policies, and procedures set by Sun Country Airlines are being complied with system wide through internal evaluation of stations as part of the ground operations quality assurance program.
EssentialRoles and Responsibilities

- Audit and evaluate ground handling station operations-above wing, below wing, deicing, fueling, freighter operations, Charter operations, etc. Up to 75% travel may be required.
- Identify policy and procedural needs; develop and implement supporting programs
- Assist with training needs; develop and deliver ongoing training activities, conduct corrective training while auditing to meet regulatory, IOSA, and Sun Country standard requirements
- Ensure regulatory compliance of training records and vendor qualifications managing applicable reporting
- Enhances safety promotion by acting as an ambassador of the SMS within the Ground Operations organization
- Conduct Safety and Ground Operations performance investigations
- Assist with data collection and analysis of Ground Operations performance information to maintain consistent risk analysis data
- Communicate with involved departments, managers, directors, and vendors to improve performance or integrate change
- Support special projects and committees as assigned by Manager, Ground Operations Compliance
- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines
- Prior experience in airline operations
- Practical knowledge with ground operations and handling, passenger service, and airline security
- Strong communication verbal and written, organization, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet regulated deadlines
- Microsoft office suite and familiarity with airline applications
- Skill in interpersonal communications, leadership, critical thinking, and problem solving is key in maintaining trust and reliability while building the business relationships between the regulatory agencies and representing the Ground Operations organization at Sun Country Airlines.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others and represent the Ground Ops organization, building positive relations across departments.
- Ability to travel on short notice as needed
- Previous Airline training experience
- Previous Customer Service/Airline/Travel industry leadership experience
Pay range: $50,000 - $58,000 USD annually. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.

Work EnvironmentThis job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
