Summary

The Program Manager develops and implements strategies for resident stability and community building at multiple housing support projects in Hennepin County and Anoka County. This program requires partnership with various property management companies and owners. Providing formerly homeless adults with a safe and permanent home and supportive services to help residents regain and maintain stability in their lives, homes and the community.

Hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Flexible. Salaried.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership of the Women Housing Partnership program.
  • Provide stability and clear vision to residents and staff.
  • Work in partnership with the various property management companies and owners.
  • Assure open communication among staff on all participant issues.
  • Maintain resident capacity in programs.
  • Ensure participants receive consistent, high-quality connections related to their goals by regularly reviewing case notes and following up with staff in a timely manner. Participate in meetings of regulatory personnel as they survey facilities and participants records for program compliance.
  • Assure safety and security of participants and staff and manage emergency situations.
  • Develop procedures and program guidelines in consultation with the Director of Single Adult Programs.
  • Develop, supervise and train staff: know SHS’ personnel practices and effectively implement policies with all direct reports.
  • Hire and train staff in consultation with the Director of Single Adults programs and Director of Equality and Human Resources.
  • Program staff training, team building and development of individual staff goals.
  • Monitor staff performance including performance reviews and assessments.
  • Effectively delegate assignments and projects to staff.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to direct reports.
  • Function as a member of a supervisory team which has responsibility for policy and procedure implementation and design, budget monitoring, employee/human resources functions and handling difficult participant issues.
  • Develop thorough and accurate budgets and reports, maintain complete and consistent records.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of participant records.
  • Manage program budget (including corrective action plans when needed).
  • Maintain accurate records, including employee time sheets, travel expenses, and billing information.
  • Manage Housing Support revenue and expenses of participants.
  • Work closely with the Operations Support Team on Housing Support administration.
  • Provide positive representation of SHS through public relations and networking: interpret the program to constituents regarding SHS and its programs.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all partners.
  • Assist with fund development as directed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional meetings.
