Operating Executive

Lyra Technology Group is seeking an Operating Executive who is ready to step into a leadership position and drive organic EBITDA growth and recurring revenue at a small operating company. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands‑on environment, makes smart trade‑off decisions between growth and profitability, and inspires high‑performing teams.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to hit financial targets, monitor performance, and make disciplined, ROI‑driven decisions.
• Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies, client relationship management, and building a high‑performing sales and marketing team.
• Recruit, develop, and motivate a results‑oriented team. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Streamline processes, ensure compliance, and maintain a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
• Ground priorities and growth initiatives in data, tracking key metrics across new customers, retention, pricing, and cross‑sell/upsell.

• Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus)
• Proven track record of revenue generation on a limited budget, with a focus on new logo acquisition
• Strong P&L management and financial budgeting experience
• Background in people management including hiring, development, and performance management
• Experience in SMB general management or senior leadership (MSP, SaaS or services experience a plus)
• Resourceful, scrappy, and willing to roll up sleeves on both strategic and day‑to‑day challenges
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills

The base compensation for this role is targeted at $175,000 and will include annual bonus and long‑term incentives.
