Job Description
The Operational Program Director (OPD) will lead and coordinate overall programs that support individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and/or those on the autism spectrum. The role blends direct care with supervisory duties, overseeing staff and program operations across multiple sites.
HoursThe position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The OPD is on call from 8 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Friday to support staff and coordinators within four to five programs. Additionally, the OPD covers on‑call for about 15–30 sites from 5 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Monday, roughly every 3–6 weeks, with holiday hours shared equally among the on‑call group.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or a related field (preferred). Candidates must hold Designated Manager status per Minnesota 245D licensing.
- At least three years of supervisory experience in the human services field meeting 245D Designated Manager qualifications.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle background check per Dungarvin, Inc.’s policy.
- Valid liability vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform personal care duties and lift/transfers as required.
- Capability to transport persons served in the community.
- Strong decision‑making, time‑management, and communication skills; responsible and flexible.
- Minimum age 18; some programs require minimum age 21 per Minnesota requirements for children foster care licensed programs.
- Starting salary $65,000.00 to $66,787.50 annually (based on experience).
