President of Construction

The President of Construction provides executive leadership for Enclave's construction operations, guiding the division's strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the company's long term goals. This role is accountable for shaping and executing strategies that drive divisional performance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. With deep industry expertise and strong strategic acumen, the President of Construction oversees project delivery, financial performance, and organizational structure while cultivating a high performing, collaborative team environment.

Through leadership and innovation, this individual advances Enclave's reputation as a trusted, forward thinking leader in the construction industry.

Preference will be given to those who are able to relocate and work out of our Fargo, ND or St Louis Park MN Headquarter Offices. The work environment is on-site and the work type is full-time, exempt.

Responsibilities include strategic planning & business growth, project oversight & delivery, financial oversight, business development & client relations, team leadership & organizational structure, and general responsibilities.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering; master's degree a plus, 15+ years of professional experience in real estate development & construction with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive leadership role, national construction experience in commercial or multifamily industries preferred, with experience in the Midwest and Mountain West a plus, OSHA 30 Certification required with PMP, CCM, LEED, or PE certifications preferred.

Competencies include advanced construction expertise across processes, methodologies, regulations, and multiple product types, proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence, familiarity with multiple construction types, such as residential, commercial, and industrial, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an executive presence that builds trust and alignment across stakeholders, strategic business and financial acumen with strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance optimization, strong client relationship and business development abilities to secure, expand, and sustain partnerships, strong ethical judgment and commitment to integrity, accountability, and professional standards in all business practices.

The physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while performing office tasks and have the capacity to maintain proper posture and ergonomics to prevent discomfort or injury, manual dexterity and proficiency in using computer keyboards, mice, and other office equipment, the ability to handle and manipulate paperwork, files, and office supplies, and the role may occasionally visit construction sites to where they will be exposed to the outdoors and possible inclement weather conditions.
