In this role, you will manage the design, planning, construction, and ongoing maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. You will oversee facility operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective environments, while leading teams, managing resources, and supporting business needs through strategic facility planning and execution. This role is onsite supporting our Plymouth Facilities.

Responsibilities

Manages the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities

Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates for equipment, labor, materials, and related costs

Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department

Oversees coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion

Establishes and oversees health and safety standards, as applicable

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient and effective operation of the function

Ensures corrective and preventative maintenance occur in a timely fashion and that work orders are recorded in CMMS

Coordinates contractors to complete projects and tasks as necessary

Must Haves

High School Diploma and 1+ year of Facilities experience

Nice to Have

Management of financial and material resources

Critical thinking

Project management

Management of personnel resources

Collaboration and productivity software

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$74,400.00 - $This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
