Terminal Operations And Facilities Assistant Manager
This position assists with the day-to-day management of operations at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) Terminals 1 and 2, with shared responsibilities for planning, monitoring, and overseeing daily activities and utilization of MAC common use facilities, systems and equipment. This position oversees terminal and maintenance activities, concourses, and other airport facilities. Responds to facility issues, maintenance requests and initiates appropriate response as needed.
Ensures tenants are adhering to MAC Policies and Ordinances. Monitors and resolves problems relating to passenger flow through the terminals, common use assets, baggage handling systems, and other terminal operations components. Works closely with airlines, tenants, MAC staff, vendors, contractors, and consultants to coordinate and facilitate all work to avoid disruption to normal airline/terminal operations. Oversees contracted services, vendors and related operating budgets as assigned.
The Terminal Operations and Facilities Assistant Manager shall maintain and manage critical relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, especially those that require collaboration, coordination, and communication. This position participates in the department on-call rotation.
This position will also serve as a key departmental representative within the North STAR Center (NSC), supporting integrated airport operations through assigned shifts and responsibilities, including real-time operational coordination, situational awareness, and response to irregular operations. This role requires familiarity with and operational use of key terminal systems such as the Airport Operational Database (AODB) and Resource Management System (RMS) and will support Terminal Operations in the management and optimization of common use resources.
This is a second shift position working between the hours of 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM. This is a safety-sensitive position which will require a pre-employment drug screen.

Monitor daily activity across Terminals 1 and 2, concourses, ramp areas, and other assigned facilities for safety, operational impacts, and compliance.
Respond to incoming operational and maintenance service calls; perform initial investigations and initiate work orders as required.
Resolve issues affecting passenger flow, baggage handling systems, terminal assets, and common use equipment.
