Under the general direction of the Director of Public Works, reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Public Works, is responsible for technical and supervisory work of considerable difficulty in the Park Maintenance division, supervising Public Works Workers and coordinating maintenance, replacements and improvement for the City park system. The position is also responsible for supervising the Central Garage division, including supervising Auto Mechanics, purchasing vehicles for the City Fleet, establishing and maintaining preventive maintenance program for all City vehicles, and assisting in scheduling repair work.
