Touch Stone is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Project Director to oversee day-to-day operations of a ballot access canvassing program in OH-13. This temporary, full-time position will lead on-the-ground execution of our signature gathering strategy, collect signatures themselves, and manage a team of canvassers and support staff, and ensure programmatic goals are met with efficiency and integrity.

Key responsibilities include overseeing hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and daily management of canvassing staff; leading daily briefing and debriefing of field teams and troubleshooting field challenges; tracking canvasser performance, managing turf assignments, and ensuring data quality; collaborating with senior leadership on campaign strategy, reporting, and progress; ensuring adherence to all legal and safety protocols; and implementing accountability systems to support productivity and morale.

Qualifications include 3+ years of campaign, field, or organizing experience (supervisory experience strongly preferred), excellent project management and leadership skills, high level of comfort with voter contact software, data entry, and reporting tools, experience managing diverse teams in high-paced environments, strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication abilities, ability to work independently and adapt quickly to program changes, willingness to relocate to San Francisco for the duration of the program, and commitment to progressive values and inclusive leadership.

Additional details include a schedule that must be available for irregular campaign hours, including evenings and weekends; housing/travel support that temporary relocation support may be discussed; and this is a full-time, temporary contract role.
