The Head of Enterprise Program Management will play a critical role in strengthening enterprise execution discipline and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale strategic initiatives across the company. This leader will own the enterprise program management office and establish the standards, governance, routines, and operating mechanisms needed to drive disciplined execution against the organization's highest-priority initiatives.

This leader will partner closely with senior leaders, business lines, functional teams, initiative owners, and the enterprise change management function to ensure that major efforts are clearly structured, well-governed, effectively prioritized, and delivered with clear ownership, integrated planning, risk management, stakeholder readiness, and accountability.

The successful candidate will be a highly structured, execution-oriented leader with strong strategic judgment, enterprise mindset, and deep experience leading complex, cross-functional programs. They will bring discipline, credibility, and practical rigor to ambiguous and high-impact initiatives, while helping senior leaders translate strategic priorities into clear plans, milestones, governance routines, and measurable outcomes. This leader must also be skilled at driving alignment across diverse stakeholders, identifying execution risks early, and ensuring that complex programs are managed in a coordinated, transparent, and disciplined way.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the enterprise program management office, including the development of consistent standards, tools, governance routines, reporting mechanisms, and execution disciplines for major strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain a disciplined enterprise initiative portfolio view, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with the enterprise change management leader to ensure organizational impacts, stakeholder considerations, adoption risks, and readiness activities are appropriately integrated into major strategic initiatives.
  • Promote consistent application of enterprise change management best practices across strategic initiatives, ensuring program governance and execution plans appropriately address organizational impacts, stakeholder engagement, and adoption considerations.
  • Partner with senior leaders and initiative owners to translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans with clear accountabilities, sequencing, timelines, and success measures.
  • Ensure major initiatives have effective governance structures, decision-making routines, escalation paths, and executive reporting.
  • Drive transparency and accountability across initiative teams by identifying risks, resolving barriers, monitoring progress, and enabling timely executive decisions.
  • Develop executive-level materials, initiative updates, decision documents, and governance reporting for senior leadership forums.
  • Identify opportunities to improve enterprise execution practices, reduce duplication, clarify ownership, and strengthen alignment across major programs.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to influence outcomes without always relying on direct authority.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team with strong capabilities in program management, stakeholder engagement, governance, executive reporting, and enterprise execution.
  • Drive measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective, and disciplined manner, balancing execution rigor with risk management, stakeholder alignment, and sustainable delivery.
