WAGE RANGE : $76,000 – $86,000/annually

JOB SUMMARY:

Catholic Charities is seeking a self-motivated, compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to serve as a Mental Health Services Supervisor at its Wilder Day Treatment Center.

Directly supervises a group of Mental Health Practitioners. Oversee the development, operation, supervision and evaluation of the assigned staff. Assists in the management of the program budget and the development of revenue generating proposals. Assist in the planning and development of new service initiatives and expansion of existing programs. Provide clinical supervision, training and coordination of program services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Recruit, hire and provide comprehensive orientation and training for staff, interns and volunteers as needed.
  • Provide supervision to include regular supervisory meetings, workload management, case consultations, (treatment supervision), monitoring and management of programmatic issues and needs, and conducts performance evaluations.
  • Assist the assigned program manager in the preparation and management of the assigned program budget and the development of revenue generating utilization, proposals or initiatives.
  • Assist the assigned Program Manager in planning and implementation of management program meetings, including staff meetings, case consultation and in-service programs.
  • Support training, staff assignments and logistical needs for expansion and alignment with strategic positioning goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups and families as assigned.
  • Oversee administration of quality improvement procedures in the program in conjunction with assigned program manager.
  • Oversee staff compliance in maintaining appropriate client records, statistical, evaluative and time management reports as required.
  • Ensure operational adherence to program policies and procedures, accreditation standards and continuing education requirements for maintaining/advancing licensure status.
  • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and client outcomes.
  • Ensure that staff observation and incident reports are completed according to procedure and adhere to program policies.

QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
  • M.S.W. or M.A. in clinical counseling or psychology.
  • Current State of Minnesota licensure status as a Mental Health Professional, and documented evidence of compliance with continuing education requirements of licensure.
  • Be board approved clinical supervisor
  • Four (4) years clinical counseling and social service experience with a wide range of family and mental health problems.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Broad understanding of clinical policies, procedures and other operational requirements of counseling service.
