As an integral member of the senior leadership team for our growing entrepreneurial business, the VP of Operations will be challenged to lead across the full spectrum of our company -- from high-level strategic planning to day-to-day operational activities. Your team will ensure that our projects are consistently delivered on schedule, on budget, and in accordance with our quality control requirements.
This role will be the primary point of contact for our supply chain, engineering, and specialty contracting partners. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Operations role will lead our engineering, construction, and customer support disciplines, with an emphasis on process and talent development. As we plan for ongoing growth in our business, we have identified the need for a strong operational leader to develop and support the teams building our projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build and reinforce efficient operational processes to streamline project management, scheduling/forecasting, procurement, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement regular project reporting and analytics for the management team on company performance, project performance, expectations, and trends.
- Serve as the company's leader for team education and related staff development, helping our technical and operations talent become exceptional in their fields.
- Participate in strategic planning and expansion initiatives for the company, including direct leadership and responsibility for new initiatives where appropriate.
- Lead relationships with supply chain, engineering, and specialty contracting partners.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve profitability and capital efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven construction and operations leader with a track record of delivering large-scale projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Experience scaling teams, business units, and operations, preferably within electrical contracting, renewable energy, solar, or related industries.
- Skilled in developing operational strategies that drive growth, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Trusted advisor and stakeholder with expertise in strategic planning, business development, and operational leadership.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with success solving complex challenges, optimizing processes, and improving productivity.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and performance management.
- Experienced in implementing scalable systems, processes, and metrics that support sustainable growth.
- Effective collaborator with executives, clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Results-driven leader with a history of growing organizations while maintaining excellence in quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
