Overview
We're partnering with a well-established precision manufacturing organization to find an experienced Tool & Die Manager in the Minneapolis, St. Paul area.
This role is ideal for a leader who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to drive tooling excellence, continuous improvement, and performance in a fast-paced production setting.
What You’ll Do- Lead and mentor a skilled team of toolmakers and machinists
- Oversee design, build, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production tools and dies
- Partner with engineering and production to ensure tooling aligns with manufacturing needs
- Maintain tooling inventory, manage budgets, and drive cost-effective decisions
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and reinforce quality standards
- 7+ years of tool & die experience in manufacturing
- Multiple years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, tooling fabrication, and machining processes
- Experience with CAD/CAM and tooling documentation practices
