Molding Operator Job Description
As a Molding Operator, you will operate and tend specified equipment and machines to create parts or products for the medical device industry. Your role will include quality checks, assembly, packaging, labeling, and moving products. You will work between both the injection mold and assembly areas, with repetitive tasks that require attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Operate and tend machines to produce medical device parts.
- Conduct quality checks, assembly, packaging, and labeling of products.
- Move between injection mold and assembly areas as needed.
- Perform injection mold operations including closing doors, pressing go, unloading parts, and basic trimming.
- Assemble basic plastic medical parts and package them.
- Utilize microscopes for precise work.
- Experience with machine operation, production, and cleanroom environments.
- Ability to read work orders.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in manufacturing and medical device industries.
- Proficiency in using microscopes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Some manufacturing experience is beneficial.
- Injection mold experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent attendance and positive attitude.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
