Twin City Staffing is seeking a precision-focused toolmaker to join a high-quality manufacturing team in Minneapolis. In this role, you will create, repair, and maintain the essential dies, jigs, and fixtures that power punch press operations.

Wage: $30.00 – $41.00/hr. (DOE)

Duties of the toolmaker:

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tools and progressive dies
• Interpret complex blueprints, CAD files, and GD&T specs
• Operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders)
• Assemble, fit, and test dies for proper function and clearance
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime
• Modify existing fixtures to accommodate design changes
• Document tool builds and repairs while following safety standards
• Troubleshoot tool performance issues with engineering teams

Requirements of the toolmaker:

• Tool and Die apprenticeship or technical training
• 3+ years of experience with progressive dies and fixtures
• Proficiency with grinders, mills, lathes, and CNC centers
• Strong knowledge of die clearances and stamping material flow
• U.S. citizenship or residency required for ITAR compliance
