My client has been a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and defense sectors for 75+ years. They are a leading technology company with a rich history in precision control components and systems. They have high growth plans, and this is an outstanding opportunity to get in at ground level as they add new products and processes to their current portfolio.
We’re looking for a second-shift Production Engineer to join our team in the greater Twin Cities area. In this role, you’ll support aerospace component production by improving processes, developing tooling and fixtures, and ensuring manufacturing operations meet customer demand. You’ll also drive efficiencies, implement lean initiatives, and help reduce defects across the production floor. Weekly shifts will be four 10-hour shifts: approximate hours will be 3:30pm-2am.
There will be shift differential pay on top of salary range posted!
Duties- Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, and test/assembly procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Optimize workflow, equipment use, and efficiency
- Maintain documentation, CNC programs, and manufacturing standards
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to achieve operational goals
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years in industrial component design/manufacturing
- 3+ years in a production/operations setting
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, testing, and GD&T
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be a US Citizen
