Cable Assembly Technician in Minneapolis, MN Pay $21-23/hr Job Description

Join a dynamic team in the Cable Cell area, where you'll contribute to building cables from scratch using a batching method. You will engage in cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires, either manually or with machine assistance. This role offers variety, as you'll rotate between different stations, ensuring you gain comprehensive skills across the board.

• Cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires in large batches for efficiency.
• Rotate between different stations, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering.
• Perform soldering tasks upon obtaining IPC 610 or 620 certifications.
• Engage in mechanical and electronic assembly tasks.
• Utilize hand tools and torque wrenches for assembly processes.
• Follow documentation, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure attention to detail and maintain high-quality standards.
• Use computers for documenting processes and tracking progress.

• Experience in cable/wire assembly or soldering.
• Familiarity with blueprints, torque wrenches, and documentation.
• Ability to strip, cut, crimp, and solder cables.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards is beneficial.

• Experience in medical assembly is advantageous.
• Ability to work with cable harnesses and wire stripping.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
